At SEU Ocala, our word for this year is Limitless—a reminder that we serve a limitless God who is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever ask, imagine, or accomplish in our own strength.
The limitation is never found in God’s ability. Too often, it is found in the limits we place on Him through our fear, doubt, comfort, or understanding. What overwhelms our capacity never overwhelms His ability.
But God’s greatest display of limitless power is not always changing what is around us—it is transforming what is within us. As we pursue Christ, we are invited to surrender the limits we have placed on His work in our lives and become increasingly aligned with His purposes.
The question is not simply, “What do I want to do with my life?” but “What did God create me to do with my life?” Living limitless means learning to recognize the difference between our abilities and His, and trusting Him beyond what we can see, understand, or accomplish on our own.
This year, we choose calling over dreams, trust over security, and holiness over happiness. We want our lives to be shaped not by the limits of what we think is possible, but by the limitless God who created us, calls us, and works through us.
Limitless is not about believing we can do anything. It is about believing that God can do immeasurably more—and choosing to faithfully step into what He has called us to do.
